There are times when I find myself in a position to describe something that can’t be described, like a feeling or a memory, or the reason why a moment meant something to me, and sometimes the only way to explain these things is by showing.

I made my first short film entitled ‘Shed’ in the summer of 2021, following the feeling of nostalgia I received from sorting through home videos of early years growing up. There was a story that was worth exploring and I wanted to find a way to show this through moving pictures. Through this I developed a fascination in the arrangement of images and how they can express emotion in ways that words cannot.

Movies have impacted me emotionally since I was a child, and I hope to bring that response out in anyone open to receiving it.
